Lumber Wrap

Perfect for common lumber wrapping stations!

Flexpak provides woven lumber wrap: a high density polyethylene scrim coated front and back with low density polyethylene. This lumber wrap is provided with or without UVI protection and in several colors and roll widths. This type of lumber wrap is best for adverse weather conditions and truck or railcar shipping. It provides a woven material that inhibits mold growth on lumber and is very hard to rip or tear. The strength of the lumber wrap is found in its unique manufacturing process. A high density scrim gives the woven poly wrap strength in a unidirectional manner, and the low density polyethylene allows for a water resistant coating over the weave. Also, the weave itself gives the woven lumber wrap much of its strength. Due to the weave, a tear has difficulty continuing beyond a single scrim strand within the entire woven wrap.
